These days, people are always looking for ways to save time. If your content doesn’t provoke them to read further, they’re not going to. No matter how useful it may be; if it is boring, people are not going to waste their time on it. Here are a few ways in which you can make your content more interesting:
1. Use Lots of Relevant Images and Videos
It is very important to use images that are relevant to your article. It not only draws the reader’s attention, but also establishes what you’re talking about. If you use clever images then attracts a lot of readers and also increases the engagement rate of your post.
E.g. In the following image, it is very clear from the picture that the article is related to losing belly fat.
2. Provide Value
You could write the best content and yet not get any engagement if your content doesn’t provide value to your readers. You need to make it very clear as to how your content will benefit them. People do not like wasting time on things that are of no use to them.
To make sure that your content provides value to your users, ask yourself the following questions:
Who is my target audience?
What are the most common problems that they face?
How can I help them solve those problems?
People are most likely to read content that helps them solve a particular problem, do something in a better way or gives them additional knowledge about things that interest them.
3. Make it Newsworthy
The best type of content is the one that is relevant to current issues or contains some exclusive information.
A simple way to do this is to look for current trends. You need to do a lot of research for this. Once you find what’s trending, find a way to relate this to your brand/industry. Sometimes, the connections will be very overt and in-your-face, and other times, you’ll have to use your creativity and cleverly link it to your business.
